Sponsoring a dog can make such a massive difference to a homeless dogs quality of life, improves their general wellbeing, and increases their chances of adoption too.
When you sponsor a dog, you are really increasing both his/her quality of life, and adoption chances. Here's how:
Sponsoring a dog means we will move them from the dog shelter into private kennels. This means your dog will have it's own enclosure and one to one care.
Your sponsor dog will have some time every day to run around with other dogs in an outdoor garden, and also get taken on weekly dogwalks by volunteers to the beach! This greatly improves their quality of life and general wellbeing.
Once in kennels they really have a higher chance of adoption! As well as being happy more well balanced & socialised dogs, volunteer dog walks from private kennels mean your sponsored pooch will have more Facebook 'airtime' and has a much higher number of adoption enquiries.
As well as the benefits for your sponsored doggy, we will also set up a group chat with yourself and other sponsors and keep you updated on your chosen dogs progress and share photos and videos from other volunteers, aswell keep you informed on any potential adoption enquiries.
It is entirely up to you how much you wish to donate, we recommend between £10 and £50 monthly if this is possible, however any amounts are welcome. We do ofcourse welcome one off donations, but a monthly committment until your dog is adopted is extremely beneficial to your dogs adoption chances and continued happiness. It costs us approx 175eur per month to keep a dog in private kennels, and sometimes the dogs require training to make the transition from kennels into a home easier and this is a one off cost of 300EUR, so by offering to sponsor you are really helping save their lives.
